Hi Elly, Wow I have finally discovered the joys of blogging. It is soo nice to hear your voice.
I like the cell phone idea and I know what you mean about denying the aging thing. When I fell on ice a few years ago and was lying there with the dog that was suppose to go for help but didn't , I should have had a phone!
I am still big on the old hippie idea of shared accomodation. I would like to see a circle of energy efficient houses with a garden in the middle, old hippies all around and a communal kitchen/hall for gathering. Actually the old Aldersgate College on south hill would do fine. I am watching to see if it goes on sale.

This is an interesting dilemma - the one about even less patience - spoke to a good friend yesterday who some years ago did some computer upgrading classes = he now knows a lot about confusers and, expressed that he was loosing patience with them, there is so much to learn, to upgrade all the time and you can never be sure that you have found the latest news or best news, there is no time to do other things in life, there is only staying on the ball. And.... he is tired of it and tries to work around it in different ways. However, he did take the time to find some Ipad info for me, which I hadn't been able to seek out myself so I am grateful that for a little while he was patient on my behalf.
Perhaps as one matures one finds it easier to prioritize, perhaps not the way others would, but make the right choices for one self.
I just plot along, sometimes if it feels like a wrong path.... I stop, retrace my tracks or take the next cross roads to the right and hope it will get me closer to where I wanted to go.

Hear! Hear! These dialogues are not easy to start or find. There is another side to it. I've been blessed with the opportunity to travel to many spots around the globe over the last dozen years or so, and it has become increasingly clear to me that there is no way to turn back the tides of globalization. There is nowhere to hide on this planet. I have no more idea than you do where this is aol going, but going it is. You know that YouTube video that more or less went viral, SHIFT HAPPENS? Shift is definitely happening.

I like this, re-storying - keep going, and I will stay in touch and keep looking and listening -
the vision thoughts are important and that inner conversation needs to be just so ..... and then a life will stay positive and glorious!
